Blackjack is one of the most well known, and the most played land-based and online casino games around. It’s so popular that there are quite a few Blackjack game variants one of which is the Vegas Strip Blackjack Gold.

The difference in the Gold variation compared to other versions is the amount of decks used when playing, and a couple rules that have been altered, game play overall is pretty much the same as any other online blackjack game so there’s no need to worry about picking up and learning a new skill set. Visually you can also expect to see better overall quality, and to honour the Gold theme the backs of the playing cards will be in gold too.

How to Play Blackjack

Vegas Strip Blackjack Gold is powered by Microgaming and if you know anything about them then you’d know that graphics and sound effects are top notch.

If you’re new to the game in its entirety then it’s a good idea to familiarise yourself with a few key rules. Blackjack is a card/table game found at all casinos, it’s a card game played between a player and the dealer. Blackjack sometimes referred to as ‘twenty one’ is played with one or more decks of cards, and the more cards you play with, the more tricky the game can get.

There can be a number of players playing the same game, but players don’t compete against each other, they only compete against the dealer. The dealer will deal out 2 cards to each player, and the aim of the game then is to beat the dealer’s hand. If your cards add up to 21 you will automatically win ‘Blackjack’. If your hand is higher than the dealers hand and under 21 you will also win. If you exceed 21 points you will automatically lose that round.

You can choose to be dealt another card, referred to as a ‘hit’, to help make up 21 points but it is risky business as if you go over you’ll lose. You can also choose to ‘split’ your hand if 2 of your cards are the same value with the hopes of doubling your chances of winning. And a double down is when you double bet depending on your first 2 cards.

Blackjack Card Values

To calculate your cards you will need to know the card values. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 are all at face value. The Jack, Queen or King is counted as 10 points, and the Ace can either be counted as a 1 or and 11. Vegas Strip Blackjack Gold holds the same card values.

The return to player (RTP) percentage is set at around 99% which is really good.

How to Play Vegas Strip Blackjack Gold

Vegas Strip Blackjack Gold is played in just about the same way you’d play any other Blackjack game. 21 is the aim of the game. The only difference is the amount of decks that you’ll be playing with. In general Blackjack is played with one deck of 52 cards; Vegas Strip Blackjack Gold is played with 4 decks in total. There are also no restrictions to double downs. Payouts in the version will only payout on the first pair of ‘Blackjack’ cards; the rest will only count as 21.
